Andrew Ortiz, J.D., MPA.

Andrew F. Ortiz, a native Arizonan, holds three degrees from Arizona State University (ASU), including a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (1992), a Juris Doctorate of Law (1998) and a Masters in Public Administration (1999).

 

Ortiz, a National Fellow with the Center for the Study of the Preseidency in Washington, D.C., is a leader in the nonprofit sector. Ortiz was a Leadership Facilitator for LeaderShape and a Founder and Senior Partner with the American Student Government Association.

 

Andrew is serving as a consultant on health policy & program development. Most recently, he was the Project Manager for Capacity Building at Arizona State University Center for Nonprofit Leadership & Management, where he was responsible for facilitating board leadership and governance. He also was the Project Director of Arizona Clearing the Air, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation where he was responsible for directing and overseeing the implementation of a statewide tobacco policy program.

 

Andrew is a member of the National Council of La Raza, the Alliance for Nonprofit Management, the Theodore Roosevelt Association, the Congressional Award Foundation Board of Directors in Washington, DC, and currently serves as the National President of the Gold Congressional Award Alumni Association.
